Keerthy Suresh

Keerthy SURESH (born 17th October, 1992) is an acclaimed Indian actor. Keerthy appears in Tamil films and Telugu films along with a handful of Malayalam. She received the National Film Award Best Actress Award for playing the character Savitri. The actress also won three SIIMA Awards and a Filmfare Award South. Keerthy is the daughter of producer G. Suresh Kumar and actor Menaka G. Suresh. Her early career was as an actor for children. Then, following a course in the field of Fashion Design, she re-entered acting. The first time she starred in a leading role was in 2013's Malayalam film Geethaanjali. She went on to star in successful films such as Ring Master (2014), Rajinimurugan (2016), Remo (2016), Bairavaa (2017), Nenu Local (2017), Sandakozhi 2 (2018), Mahanati (2018), Sarkar (2018), Sandakozhi 2 (2018), Penguin (2020), Miss India (2021), Good Luck Sakhi (2022) and Sarkaru Vaari Paata (2022). Keerthy began her very first Malayalam projects and also began working in Tamil in parallel. In the year 2015, she debuted A. L. Vijay's romantic comedy Idhu Enna Maayam and Vikramprabhu in opposition to each other. But, both films did not do well in cinemas. Due to her busy schedule for 2015, she was forced to pull herself out of projects on which she already began working, like Krishna's Maane Thaene Paeye or Deekay's Kavalaivendam. The result was that she worked on two films in collaboration with Sivakarthikeyan quickly, Rajini Murugan and Remo as well as playing the leading part in Prabhu Solomon's Thodari along with Dhanush.Her Telugu debut was planned to release in Ainaa Ishtam Nuvvu. The film has been being delayed from 2015 with the possibility of release in September 2020 under a different title, Janakitho Nunu. The first film to debut came out as Nenu Sailaja in 2016, featuring the actor Ram Pothineni. In January, Keerthy appeared in Bairavaa in a film starring actor Vijay and produced by Bharathan.
